We can all admit that finding a quality piece is always more exciting when its price is reduced. A sale feels like a gift that’s just for you and it could be the difference between one new and hot item as opposed to an entire outfit.
Let’s face it, at times it makes sense to spend our hard-earned money on one luxurious item but there are other times that maybe rent is due or the item at hand is eccentric and it might only be used half of the time, and it might not make as much sense. So, when it comes to finding luxury and designer items or outfit inspiration, I have a few tricks up my sleeve.
Tip 1: Be mindful. Pay close attention to the end of season or holiday sales as they are always popping up. At some stores, there are also options to become a member. Take the opportunity to do so as it will often allow you to save a certain percentage on each purchase and allow you to accumulate points that will help you save on future purchases.
Tip 2: Shop online. Shopping online allows you to filter by item type, brand and price. Hello, 2018 and thank you for the accommodations!
Tip 3: Stay in the know. Knowing where to shop for different items allows you to get the most for your money.

Bergdorf Goodman. You know what they say, “there’s only one Bergdorf Goodman” and it’s true. Bergdorf helps fashion come to life. Right now, you will find new markdowns on dresses. Check it out if you have an event coming up as you will find the cutest floral patterns and other styles that create a romantic look for less!
Barneys New York. Barneys promotes rewards for its shoppers, encouraging them to get the most for their money. At the moment, you will find prices lowered on select handbags, jackets and bright colored heels which will be sure to add texture to any outfit.
Bloomingdale’s. Loyalists will find that it is worth it to sign up for a reward card here as with each purchase you receive points that give back to you later in dollars. Right now, you will find the best prices on a variety of things. Some of the hottest steals are on the latest sandals, booties and tops. This is also a great place to shop for high quality handbags and wallets.
Intermix. Intermix online allows shoppers to keep up with all of the trends. Whether you need outfit inspiration or are looking to spruce up your closet, you will find good prices on last minute summer items as well as other looks that will carry you well into the fall.
